FUZE 2015: BEHIND THE SCENES

victoria_beckham_ladies

Sitting in our fancy chairs, typing at our large desks, surrounded by drapes of high fashion couture from the likes of Versace, Vivienne Westwood and Victoria Beckham, there’s only one thing on our minds – Fuze fashion show 2015. Here at Garment Quarter HQ we thought it would be in good taste to start our new blog with a sneak peak of what’s yet to come on the 20th and 21st February.

“What’s Fuze?” You ask.

Fuze is the UK’s largest student run charity based in Bristol. The students put on a hybrid mixture of fashion, dance and music for a 2 day festival at the Passenger Shed in Bristol. The event sees a coming together of students from across the country and internationally to bring about a notoriously sell – out show every year! And better yet – our clothes are being featured!

“What labels will we be seeing?” You question.

Think couture, high – end fashion, sass and chic – Garment Quarter and all our brands fit into all of the above categories. So our show will be sure to please – From Victoria Beckham to Versace, and Paul Smith to Vivienne Westwood, there will be at least one item you can’t live without!

“Will any of the clothes be available to buy?” You look intrigued.

Of course! We will be catching up after the show to give you a more intense look at the outfits featured on the show. But if you can’t wait (and we don’t blame you) – check our website out and treat yourself! http://www.garmentquarter.com/

“Which charity has been chosen?” You inquire.

SARSAS

This year, the students at Fuze will be giving 100% of their profits to Somerset and Avon Rape and Sexual Abuse Support (SARSAS). In last year alone, SARSAS supported 330 women and girls who had been abused, and this year (although low on funding) are trying to help even more. So don’t just buy a ticket because it will be obviously spectacular, but also because you’re helping a really great cause! We are honoured to be able to help out here at GQ, and knowing it’s going to such a fantastic charity, we can’t wait to see the show!!
